Description
A refreshing and fruity watermelon sorbet made easily with an ice cream maker.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups Watermelon
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine the cubed watermelon, sugar, lemon juice, and salt.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp if desired.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Once the sorbet reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Scoop and serve the watermelon sorbet.
