Description
This Tiramisu recipe is simple to make and incredibly delicious. With layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and rich mascarpone cream, it’s the perfect dessert to impress your guests.

- 2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 24 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
- Dark chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cooled brewed coffee, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the coffee mixture, making sure not to soak them.
- Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings if desired.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit any liqueur.
- You can use store-bought ladyfingers or make your own if you prefer.
