This Tiramisu Oreo recipe combines the classic flavors of tiramisu with the delicious crunch of Oreos, creating a decadent dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
  6. In a shallow dish, mix the cooled espresso with coffee liqueur (if using).
  7. Dip each Oreo cookie into the espresso mixture and layer them on top of the cooled Oreo crust.
  8. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the dipped Oreos. Repeat the layers with another round of dipped Oreos and the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  10. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use dark roast espresso.
  • You can substitute the coffee liqueur with additional espresso if you prefer a non-alcoholic version.
  • Make sure to let the tiramisu set in the refrigerator for the best texture.
