- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
- For the lime crema: 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon lime zest, salt to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- While shrimp is cooking, mix together sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, and salt in a small bowl to make the lime crema.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla, then top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
- Drizzle lime crema over the top and serve with lime wedges.
