Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined and shells on
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears of corn, cut into thirds
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and add the Old Bay seasoning, garlic, lemon halves, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add the potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes until they are tender.
  3. Add the sausage and corn to the pot. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 3-5 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Drain the pot and serve the shrimp boil on a large platter or newspaper. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to customize your shrimp boil by adding other seafood such as crab or crawfish.
