Crispy and delicious panko chicken tenders made effortlessly in the air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs
- as needed cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, letting excess drip off.
- Coat the chicken strips in the panko mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in egg and panko mixture.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
