A refreshing and festive dessert perfect for Memorial Day gatherings, layered with fresh berries, whipped cream, and pound cake.

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
- 4 cups whipped cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whip the cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In a large trifle dish or individual cups, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
- Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the pound cake.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, berries, and whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use any combination of berries based on availability and preference.
- For a patriotic touch, consider adding blue and red sprinkles on top before serving.
