A delicious and classic lobster roll recipe featuring succulent lobster meat, lightly dressed and served in a buttery toasted roll.

- 1 1/2 pounds cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 New England-style hot dog buns
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, for toasting
- Leafy romaine or butter lettuce, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, red onion, and chives.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Place the hot dog buns cut-side down in the skillet and toast until golden brown.
- Remove the buns from the skillet and place a leaf of lettuce in each bun.
- Fill each bun generously with the lobster mixture.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious lobster roll!
