Lavender Lemonade with Fresh Mint: 1 Irresistible Recipe for Summer

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

A refreshing blend of lavender-infused lemonade with fresh mint, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, sugar, and dried lavender. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let the lavender steep for about 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds.
  4. Add 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  5. Add fresh mint leaves and gently muddle them at the bottom of the pitcher to release their flavor.
  6. Chill the lavender lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Serve over ice, garnished with additional mint leaves and lemon slices.

Notes

  • For a stronger lavender flavor, let the syrup steep longer.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
