Description
A refreshing blend of lavender-infused lemonade with fresh mint, perfect for warm days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, sugar, and dried lavender. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let the lavender steep for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds.
- Add 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Add fresh mint leaves and gently muddle them at the bottom of the pitcher to release their flavor.
- Chill the lavender lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice, garnished with additional mint leaves and lemon slices.
Notes
- For a stronger lavender flavor, let the syrup steep longer.
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
