- 4 skin-on bone-in chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken thighs skin-side down.
- Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the chicken thighs over and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
