Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt.

- If desired, rub each sweet potato with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt for added flavor.
- Pierce each sweet potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
- Place the sweet potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet for easier cleanup.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the potatoes, or until they are tender and a fork easily pierces through.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing open and serving.
