Description
Juicy and flavorful grilled burgers that are perfect for summer barbecues.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 hamburger buns
- Toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the patties and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place cheese on the patties to melt (if using).
- Remove the burgers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Assemble your burgers with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, use ground beef with a fat content of 15-20% for juicy burgers.
- Feel free to customize the seasonings and toppings to your liking.
- You can also add Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture for extra flavor.
