  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
  4. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip the patties and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  6. During the last minute of cooking, place cheese on the patties to melt (if using).
  7. Remove the burgers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Assemble your burgers with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
