Ingredients

  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Fold in 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the crispy fried onions.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the crock pot and spread evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  5. After cooking, top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crispy fried onions. Cover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use fresh green beans if you prefer, just blanch them before adding to the mixture.
  • Feel free to add cooked bacon or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
