  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Delicious grilled corn on the cob slathered in homemade herb butter, perfect for summer barbecues and outdoor gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears of fresh corn, husked
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, parsley, chives, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Husk the corn and remove all silk strands. You may soak the corn in water for 10 minutes if you prefer steamed corn.
  4. Place the corn directly on the grill. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and has grill marks.
  5. Remove the corn from the grill and slather with herb butter while hot.
  6. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the herb butter.
  • Feel free to mix and match your favorite herbs in the butter.
