Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  7. Place the breaded chicken strips in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  8. Spray the tops of the chicken strips with olive oil.
  9. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
