- 1 lb white fish (like cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the fish in the flour mixture, then dip into the breadcrumbs to coat.
- Place the coated fish on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice, and garlic powder to create the sauce.
- Warm the corn tortillas on a skillet or in the microwave.
- Assemble the tacos by placing fish, cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro on each tortilla.
- Drizzle with the sauce and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
- You can use any firm white fish for this recipe.
- Feel free to add avocado or jalapeños for extra flavor.
