  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  4. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
