  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat the chicken evenly.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. To serve, divide the cooked rice among bowls. Top with the teriyaki chicken and steamed broccoli.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
