- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese and bacon mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, wrapping the filling inside.
- Place the rolled appetizers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg to give them a golden color.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling by adding different herbs or spices to suit your taste.
- These appetizers can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
