  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  8. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the buttery garlic sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the chicken parmesan on a plate with buttery garlic spaghetti on the side. Garnish with chopped parsley.
