Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but do not let the garlic brown.
  3. Add the drained pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic oil, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
