Ingredients

  • 34 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  3. Place the brisket on top of the onions in the crockpot and pour the sauce mixture over the brisket.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
  5. Once cooked, remove the brisket from the crockpot and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with the cooking juices and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the brisket in the sauce overnight in the refrigerator before cooking.
  • You can add vegetables such as carrots and potatoes to the crockpot for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
