Tender and flavorful beef brisket cooked slowly in a crockpot for a delicious meal.
Ingredients

- 3–4 lbs beef brisket
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Place the sliced onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Place the brisket on top of the onions in the crockpot and pour the sauce mixture over the brisket.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
- Once cooked, remove the brisket from the crockpot and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with the cooking juices and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the brisket in the sauce overnight in the refrigerator before cooking.
- You can add vegetables such as carrots and potatoes to the crockpot for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
