Description

A traditional New England clam bake featuring fresh clams, lobster, corn, and potatoes, all steamed together for a delightful seafood feast.


Ingredients

  • 2 dozen fresh clams
  • 4 lobster tails
  • 4 ears of corn, husked and cut in half
  • 4 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the potatoes to the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the corn and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Add the clams and lobsters to the pot, cover, and steam for 10-15 minutes until the clams have opened and the lobster is cooked through.
  5. Carefully remove the pot from heat. Drain the water and let cool slightly.
  6. Serve the clam bake on a large platter with melted butter, lemon wedges, salt, and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley.
