Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Fresh fruit for topping (like mango or lychee)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, water, and sugar. Stir to combine.
  2. Sprinkle agar-agar powder over the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat the saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the agar-agar and sugar dissolve completely.
  4. Once dissolved, bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from heat.
  5. Add vanilla extract if using, and stir well.
  6. Pour the mixture into molds or a shallow dish and let it cool to room temperature.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  8. Once set, cut into squares or desired shapes and serve topped with fresh fruit.

Notes

  • Make sure to stir well to dissolve agar-agar completely; otherwise, it may not set properly.
  • You can adjust the sweetness according to your taste by adding more or less sugar.
