These air fryer chickpeas are perfectly crispy and seasoned, making them a healthy and delicious snack or addition to salads.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) Canned chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  3. Place the seasoned chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  4. Air fry the chickpeas for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
  • Ensure the chickpeas are well dried after rinsing for maximum crispiness.
  • These chickpeas can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
