This honey garlic chicken thighs recipe is easy, delicious, and perfect for any night of the week.

- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for about 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken thighs in the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- This recipe can easily be doubled for larger gatherings.
