- 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions
- Cut the top off the onion and peel the outer layers. Cut the onion downwards in a star pattern, creating petals.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip the onion in the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it with the flour mixture, ensuring all petals are covered.
- After coating with flour, dip the onion back into the buttermilk, then coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Spray the onion with cooking spray for a crispy texture.
