  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, for Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets.
  3. Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dredge each chicken cutlet in flour, dip in egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken cutlets until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Top each cutlet with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Meanwhile, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  8. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until combined.
  9. Add the cooked fettuccine and Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
  10. Serve the Chicken Parmesan over a bed of creamy fettuccine Alfredo, garnished with chopped parsley.
