- 1 whole chicken
- 1 can beer
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
- Remove the giblets from the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin for extra flavor.
- Open the can of beer and drink (or pour out) half of it. You can add fresh herbs into the can for extra flavor if desired.
- Place the beer can inside the cavity of the chicken, ensuring it stands upright.
- Carefully place the chicken upright on the grill, either directly on the grates or using a beer can chicken holder.
- Close the grill lid and cook for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, carefully remove the chicken from the grill. Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
