- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Green onions, sliced for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the beef and broccoli over cooked rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots to the stir-fry.
