Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • to taste Optional toppings (sour cream, cheese, chives, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then dry them with a towel.
  3. Pierce each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
  4. Rub the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
  6. Cook for 35-40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and crispy on the outside. You can check doneness by inserting a fork into the largest potato.
  7. Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  8. Serve with your favorite toppings.

  • For extra crispiness, you can increase the temperature to 425°F (220°C) for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
