- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the shrimp for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the seasoning to your taste.
- For extra crunch, you can bread the shrimp with panko breadcrumbs before air frying.
