  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Deliciously juicy and perfectly cooked sausage patties made effortlessly in your air fryer. A great addition to breakfast or brunch!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork sausage, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the sausage patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Cook the patties for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are browned and cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  7. Remove the sausage patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter flavor, you can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the pork sausage.
  • Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices to customize the flavor of your sausage patties.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
