Deliciously juicy and perfectly cooked sausage patties made effortlessly in your air fryer. A great addition to breakfast or brunch!

- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork sausage, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, sage, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the sausage patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
- Cook the patties for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are browned and cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Remove the sausage patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter flavor, you can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the pork sausage.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices to customize the flavor of your sausage patties.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
