- 1 pound Fresh okra
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the okra pieces, olive oil, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the okra is evenly coated.
- Place the okra in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the okra is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately as a snack or side dish.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add cayenne pepper or your favorite seasoning.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for the best results.
- Leftover okra can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
