Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Line the air fryer basket with muffin liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Scoop the batter into the liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Air fry the muffins at 320°F (160°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the muffins to cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
