Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Line the air fryer basket with muffin liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Scoop the batter into the liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Air fry the muffins at 320°F (160°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite mix-ins such as nuts, dried fruit, or spices.
- Store any leftover muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
