- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (for glaze)
- 1 teaspoon mustard (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into a loaf shape that fits in your air fryer basket.
- In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the meatloaf in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the remaining glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Remove the meatloaf from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can add your favorite herbs or spices for extra flavor.
- For a healthier option, use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
