Juicy and flavorful hamburgers cooked to perfection in an air fryer. This easy recipe yields delicious results in no time.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Optional toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indent in the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
- Cook the hamburgers for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for medium.
- If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Remove the hamburgers from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For a leaner option, use ground turkey or chicken.
- Experiment with different seasonings to customize the flavor.
- Ensure the air fryer is not overcrowded; cook in batches if necessary.
