- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry the green beans for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are crispy and tender.
- If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans during the last minute of cooking.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the green beans and your desired level of crispiness.
- For extra flavor, you can add lemon juice or zest before serving.
