- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs.
- In a third dish, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each fish fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off the excess.
- Dip the fillet into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Finally, coat the fillet in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.
- Place the coated fish fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not crowded.
- Spray the tops of the fillets lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the fish in lemon juice and herbs for 30 minutes before coating.
- You can add additional spices to the breadcrumb mixture for a customized flavor.
