- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch squares
- 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
- Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes prior to use)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken cubes to the bowl and toss until evenly coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Thread marinated chicken, bell pepper, and onion onto skewers, alternating between each ingredient.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd them.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
