Description
Crispy and juicy air fryer chicken cutlets that are quick and easy to make. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the flour in a shallow dish. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs. In a third shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken cutlets in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not overlap. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite seasoning for an hour before breading.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken cutlets.
