Crispy and juicy air fryer chicken cutlets that are quick and easy to make. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flour in a shallow dish. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs. In a third shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken cutlets in a single layer in the basket, making sure they do not overlap. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite seasoning for an hour before breading.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken cutlets.
