Description
Juicy and flavorful cheeseburgers made easily in an air fryer. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 or 85/15)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of cheese (American, cheddar, or your choice)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the beef mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch.
- Cook the patties for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach your desired doneness (145°F for medium-rare, 160°F for medium).
- In the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes if desired.
- Assemble your cheeseburgers with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, use ground beef with some fat content for juicier burgers.
- Feel free to customize your seasonings and toppings based on your preferences.
