A hearty tater tot casserole made with ground beef, perfect for a family meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag tater tots (32 oz)
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in frozen mixed vegetables and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Spread the beef mixture in an 8×8 baking dish.
- Top with tater tots, arranging them evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños.
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Make it vegetarian by using plant-based ground meat and vegetable broth.
