Ingredients

- 3–4 pounds of beef roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups carrots, chopped
- 2 cups potatoes, cubed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- Place the beef in the slow cooker.
- Add the beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add the chopped carrots and cubed potatoes around the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the beef and vegetables, and let the meat rest before slicing.
- Serve with the gravy from the slow cooker.

- For more flavor, sear the beef roast in a pan before placing it in the slow cooker.
