Ingredients

- 1 lb okra, sliced
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In another bowl, combine the beaten egg and buttermilk.
- Dip the okra slices in the buttermilk mixture.
- Coat the okra in the cornmeal mixture.
- Place the coated okra in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for desired crispiness and cook longer if needed.

- For extra crunch, let the coated okra sit for a few minutes before air frying.
