- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Sea salt for topping
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until combined.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise overnight in the refrigerator.
- Next day, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
- Transfer the dough to the baking sheet and stretch it to fit.
- Use your fingers to create dimples on the surface.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and herbs.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can include garlic or sun-dried tomatoes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the oven for a few minutes for best texture.
