- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Sea salt for sprinkling
- Fresh rosemary (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a baking sheet and spread the dough on it.
- Dimple the surface with your fingers and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle sea salt and rosemary on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This bread is great for sandwiches or as a side.
- You can add toppings like olives or sun-dried tomatoes.
