A simple focaccia bread recipe using 00 flour for a light and airy texture.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500g 00 flour
- 350ml water
- 10g salt
- 7g dried yeast
- 50ml olive oil
- Fresh rosemary
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and salt to the mixture.
- Knead until smooth, about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once risen, spread the dough on a baking sheet.
- Make dimples with your fingers and drizzle olive oil.
- Sprinkle rosemary on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic to the olive oil.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
