  • 1 pound Italian Sausage (Removed from casings)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 28 ounces Canned Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (Or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (Or to taste)
  • As needed Grated Parmesan Cheese (For serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned.
  3. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
