Description

These Easter Cake Mix Cookie Bars are a simple and festive treat! Made with a cake mix and topped with colorful sprinkles and candies, they’re perfect for an Easter celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (Vanilla, yellow, or any flavor you like)
  • 0.5 cup 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter (Melted)
  • 2 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Easter sprinkles
  • Easter candies (Mini chocolate eggs, jelly beans, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the Easter sprinkles and candies over the top of the batter, gently pressing them in.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a half cup of white chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the batter. Store leftover cookie bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
